Do I need a physician's referral for dietitian services?
You do not need any referral for our services. However, a physician could recommend you to see a Dietitian for extra support for treating any health conditions.
Where do you hold your appointments?
We hold all our consultations either on the phone or via Zoom.
I don't live in Edmonton. Can I still request Nutrition 101 services?
The amazing thing with online appointments is that we can meet you wherever you are. Using Zoom you just need a laptop, computer or tablet with internet connection and you're all set for our online meetings. We can also hold phone follow ups for clients within Canada.
What methods of payments do you take?
For your safety and convenience, we accept Interac e-Transfers so you don't need to worry of exposing your credit card details. We also take cash and cheques if you reside in Edmonton or Vancouver. Soon we will accept Visa, Master Card and American Express.
Is my service covered by my Health Plan?
Most health plan providers do partially or fully cover dietitian services. For more information of the covered amount or how to claim, please contact your insurance provider directly.
Will I be issued a receipt?
Yes, you will be issued a receipt in your name. You can use it to make a claim by submitting the receipt to your insurance provider.
